Hyaluronic Acid
The chemistry of hyaluronic acid
Hyaluronan is a long chain of hyaluronic acid molecules. It is the water sponge of our body.
Hyaluronan is rapidly degraded by our enzymes. To delay its degradation, it must be crosslinked. That is, hyaluronan molecules must be attached next to each other.
According to the crosslinking of hyaluronan, the molecule is more or less fluid. A fluid hyaluronan will be used for intradermal filling. Thick hyaluronan will be used for subcutaneous filling.

The joint use of a high-end restorative cosmetic like La Maison Clayton Shagal, or PRP, allows the repair of damaged tissue. This synergy of treatments makes it possible to space the injections of hyaluronan very strongly.
The wrinkles usually treated are the lion's wrinkle, the nasolabial fold, the wrinkles around the mouth and the corners of the lips.
In the same way, for subcutaneous injections of hyaluronan fillers of hollow, it is possible to add PRP, to create tissue that will last after the disappearance of hyaluronan.
The session
If you have a history of cold sores and an injection of the lips, you will need to take a prophylactic treatment, started one day before the session.
We use Belotero® (Switzerland) and Juvederm® (USA) brand products for our hyaluronan injections.
